Manage civil engineering projects, teams, budgets, and client relations in Rapid City.

Tasks
-Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments. -Provide professional services for civil engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractors. -Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings. -Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight. -Maintain quality client relationships and communication. -Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. -Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work. -May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear. -Maintain existing client relationships and enhance pursued relationships with clients. -Manage performance of assigned project team members including Project Engineers, Junior Engineers, and Technicians. -Assist in identifying, evaluating, pursuing, and managing project opportunities.

What You Bring
-Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. -Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field. -10+ years of experience in civil engineering. -8+ years of experience in civil engineering. -Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. -Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months. -Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. -Strong oral and written communication skills. -May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town. -May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds. -Ability to manage projects, clients, and project team members. -Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development. -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. -Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain.
