Tasks
-Work within a team environment following standardized practices and department procedures -Work directly with accounts payable to process payments and rectify under/over payments -Process weekly fringe deductions for all trades -Respond to internal/external requests and inquiries -Process monthly and weekly union reports both manually and through on-line system -Research and process over/underpayment of fringe contribution payments -Enter new benefit deductions and wage rates -Update and Maintain department procedure manual -Enter employee fringe benefit and voluntary deduction authorizations into JDE -Run weekly and monthly JD Edwards reports

What You Bring
Henkels and McCoy has over 400 labor contracts to for which we process payments of union fringe contributions. Working in tandem with the Labor Team, the Union Benefits Coordinator has primary responsibility for entering and tracking wage rates and applicable union fringe contribution payments. With over 400 union contracts, this position requires attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently is required. An understanding of basic accounting functions and previous experience with a Benefit Fund is preferred. -Attention to detail -Understanding of basic accounting functions -Requires understanding of internal software system including calculation of required payments -Ability to multi-task and work independently
