Intern- Architectural Designer

Overview

Support architectural design with 3D modeling, drawings, and coordination for sciences projects.

Tasks

-Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under direction of the project team lead. -Developing project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, etc.) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards. -Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors).

What You Bring

-Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights -Must be willing to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and other internal and external stakeholders (vendors, clients and contractors) -Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry -Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture -Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble) -Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) -Prior internship or co-op experience in Architecture or related field -Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications
