Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and light repairs for commercial facilities.

Tasks
-Answer common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. -Refinishing and painting outdoor picnic tables and site furnishings -Support the Facilities team with seasonal projects and special tasks -Maintain cleanliness of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and shared areas. -Complete general labor work as assigned. This includes office furniture repairs, replacing ceiling and carpet tile, and ad hoc requests. -Painting walls and floors in mechanical rooms -Perform light repairs and upkeep across the facility, including: -Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. -Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. -Respond to employee desk and office lockouts and manages replacement keys. -Follow government and company regulations related to building operations and work safety. -Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify minor repair needs -Help maintenance staff, engineers, and company vendors with special projects as needed. Review work upon completion of a project to ensure all deliverables are achieved. -Communicate any issues or supply needs to the Chief Engineer -Assist with general cleaning and tidying of common areas -Organize inventory of storage rooms to ensure contents are stocked. -Assist internal employees with office space relocation by delivering and collecting packing supplies. -Perform physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials.

What You Bring
-High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. -Ability to work independently and manage time effectively -Touch-up painting in office spaces -Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. -Experience in general maintenance, custodial work, or facilities support preferred -Basic painting and light drywall repair skills required -Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship -Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day -Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
