Tasks
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors to ensure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing. Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civil projects including: earthwork, utilities, roads, and other infrastructure components. Identify and assess potential risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies. Collaborate with project teams to establish and track project schedules and milestones. Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and solicit competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential opportunities and risks. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in heavy civil construction. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues promptly.

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Heavy Civil Estimator with at least 3-5 years of Heavy Civil experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to join our dynamic team. -Strong proficiency in estimating software and project management tools. -Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Thorough understanding of heavy civil construction processes, materials, and methods. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Estimator with a minimum of 3-5 years in the industry.
