Tasks

-Work with Project Managers to develop the most suitable solutions for our clients’ most challenging issues. -Champion excellence and client satisfaction, delivering projects that not only meet but exceed expectations, all while adhering to Jacobs' stringent standards for health, safety, quality, and risk management. -Play a role in business development activities that support the award of new wastewater contracts. This typically includes making and maintaining client relationships, working with your team on project-specific positioning activities, proposal preparation, and oral presentations. -Contribute to the execution of the Miami Area Market Strategy that delivers leading-edge technology solutions for our clients while also seeking to diversify and expand our client base. -Mentor and be mentored. Find mentors across the enterprise and support junior staff in the local and regional water group. Our Miami Water Group is growing! -Work with talented Project Managers in the planning and delivery of challenging and impactful projects. -Be accountable for successfully completing tasks to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that Jacobs’ business and policy expectations are met in the areas of health and safety, quality, financial, project delivery, and risk management. -Learn through innovation and collaboration, working hand-in-hand with multidisciplinary teams through the intricacies of wastewater process engineering, ensuring every initiative meets its designated targets for scope, schedule, budget, and beyond. -Ignite growth and opportunity, leveraging your technical skills to help secure new contracts through the delivery of quality work and engaging presentations, gradually gaining deeper market understanding and understanding client needs. -Become a key member of delivery teams through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in the contract. What You Bring

-Good oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem-solving, and a strong organizational approach. -Languages Spanish and English. -Ability to earn a Professional Engineer (PE) license. -Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams. -Understanding of industry standard tools and metrics associated with wastewater, and a proven history of delivering projects to successfully meet client expectations. -Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience. -PhD or master’s degree in environmental engineering or related engineering discipline.
