Tasks

-Act as a subject matter expert in future concept definition, architecture analyses, and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to customer. -Assess MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities to develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level. -Facilitate the definition/implementation of future concepts for modeling, simulation, and analysis. -Develop analysis plans, execute M&S to implement those plans, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products. -Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) system.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to facilitate the modeling, simulation, and analyses of future concepts that shape the future of the Missile Defense System (MDS) and respond to Warfighter needs. -Experience with MATLAB -Proven ability to coauthor numerous reports and provide significant contributions to MDS studies and responses to Congress. -Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. -Experience with HPC Systems, Python, and Git. -Master's Degree in a STEM Field with 12+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project -Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future concepts. -Specialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures. -Active TS/SCI Clearance. -Experience serving as a key advisor and collaborating on products that may go outside the Agency, such as DoD, Services, Combatant Commands, industry experts, etc. -Experience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures. -Experience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities. -Experience with BMD Benchmark. -Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts -Ability to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologies. -Experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures
