Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including developers, architects, engineers, and contractors. -Leads all aspects of Kiewit’s safety culture and a commitment to Nobody Gets Hurt. -Oversight and Collaboration during the Preconstruction, Estimating, and proposal development process for new and existing business opportunities. -Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and industry trends. -Leads Contract negotiations, solutions and development -Provides oversight and senior management for multiple construction teams through the preconstruction and construction process. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Ensures that staffing resources are sufficient on projects and assists in employee development, recruiting, and retention. -Senior Management responsibility for the project performance: financial, schedule, client relations. -Create strategies for community partnerships to ensure Kiewit has diverse presence. -Build trusted advisor relationships with key client executives through content-driven discussions aligned to the client's priorities and relevant trends. -Assists and supports Executive leadership with strategy development and business initiatives within the organization. -Provide Strategic plans for new business opportunities and fosters new client relationships. -Serves as the primary client relationship manager, who builds long-term relationships with new and existing clients to generate new business opportunities.

What You Bring

-Competent in the use of computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Construction Management; Business: Finance, OR similar type experience in a related position that provides knowledge and experience required for this position. -Prior experience serving as Project Manager, Design Manager, Director of Estimating, or Project Director of construction teams, where responsibilities include construction, engineering, estimating, contracts management, and client relations. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. -Regular, reliable attendance -Knowledge of commercial construction standards including scheduling, contracts, coordinating and managing all disciplines and subcontractors. -Public Speaking and Presentations -15+ years’ experience in the vertical construction market, preferably in the localized region. -Excellent communication and leadership skills.
