  • Support of project-related documentation for a range of transportation planning studies, traffic operations projects, grant initiatives, and multi-modal / transit-oriented projects.
  • Assistance with development of support materials for public involvement programs and attendance of public meetings as needed
  • Conduct planning assessments using analytical tools such as GIS to evaluate data, identify trends, and develop documentation to summarize results
  • Performance of field data collection and other on-site project support activities

Candidates should have an interest in transportation planning and/or traffic engineering and desire to support a wide range of planning studies that include multimodal planning, community planning, bicycle and pedestrian planning, transit planning, corridors analysis, and coordination of public involvement and agency outreach efforts.

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning or related field
  • Some knowledge and experience in data analysis tools such as ArcGIS and Excel
  • Experience with common software tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and graphics software such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple assignments and work in a team environment
