Tasks

-Prepare detailed MEP estimates for government agency, healthcare, and institutional projects -Collaborate with design teams for constructability and value engineering -Participate in preconstruction meetings and client presentations -Maintain historical cost data and update pricing databases -Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation for cost breakdowns -Evaluate subcontractor bids and perform scope reviews

What You Bring

-5–10+ years of MEP estimating experience -Familiarity with corporate estimating processes -Experience advising clients on cost strategies and market conditions -Strong communication and collaboration skills -Proven experience with government agency projects (SCA, DASNY, etc.) -Proficiency in estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Destini, Sitework tools) -On-site in NYC office (4–5 days/week) -Travel: 10–15% -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management -Ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines
