Tasks

-Perform tasks such as holding survey rods, measuring distances, and recording data accurately. -Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. -Maintain survey equipment and assist with equipment transportation to and from job sites. -Learn and apply basic surveying techniques under the guidance of experienced surveyors. -Assist in the setup and operation of surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and data collectors. -Follow instructions from the Crew Chief and other senior team members to ensure efficient and accurate surveying operations.

What You Bring

-This position may require driving a company vehicle. Therefore, a valid driver's license and no infractions for a minimum of 3 years is required to be approved to drive a company vehicle and added to the company insurance policy. -No prior experience in land surveying is required - we will provide training and support for the right candidates. -Honest, dependable, thorough, safety-conscious, and possessing a strong work ethic. -Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions. -Excellent organizational and communication skills. -The ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift 75 lbs. Mental and physical labors are to be expected. -Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain. -Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
