The Role

Overview

Lead site crews, ensure safety, quality, schedules, and manage personnel/materials.

Tasks

-Completes daily time-sheets and field reports -Works with senior foremen and/or superintendents to complete short interval schedules -Prepares schedules for needed personnel, materials, equipment and subcontractors -Conducts daily JSA to recognize safety hazards associated with the daily tasks and educates crews of hazards -Ensures quality of work performed by crews -Inspects incoming materials for quality, accuracy, completeness and contract compliance -Provides oversight direction to crews and/or subcontractors -Ensures crews are working at maximum efficiency during shift hours and leads by example

What You Bring

-Good written and verbal communication skills -Working knowledge of grade checking and understanding of surveying information -Good organizational skills -First aid/CPR certification -Competent Person training -Understands and enforces company safety policies -Prior crew and subcontractor management experience -30 Hour OSHA certification -Knowledge of safe construction methods and procedures -5-8 years of experience in chosen construction specialty -Leadership and management abilities -Vocational or construction management training a plus -High school diploma or equivalent -Understands plans and specifications -Basic ability to construct (build)
