Senior Designer, Food Service & Hospitality

Tasks

-Enhance the world around you - from the environment to the highways, to the buildings and the terrain, WSP is the fabric of Canada. -Support new and existing business development opportunities through proposals, presentations and client engagement. Lead and manage opportunities and projects. -Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to internal quality control processes. -Be active in representing the company through targeted industry organizations. -Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for food service and laundry facilities including plans, elevations, details, and equipment schedules. Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. -Analyze client requirements and provide advisory services to develop food service design options. -Review shop drawings, conduct site visits and support construction administration.

What You Bring

-Excellent technical, interpersonal and teamwork skills. -Proficiency with AutoCAD, KCL and Revit. -Strong knowledge of food service equipment, workflows and industry standards. -Expertise in the design of food service and/or laundry areas for hospitality, commercial, healthcare, education, and residential buildings. -Demonstrated ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously. -Food Service Consultants Society International (FCSI) certification is an asset. -Currently hold or able to obtain a Secret level security clearance. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -10+ years of experience in the food service design industry, preferably in a consulting environment.
