Tasks

-Maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the laboratory. -Requalify refractive index liquids and prepare reagents as directed by scientific staff. -Prepare microanalysis tools for scientists, including needles, glass microslides, and other tools as needed. -Document all tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGxP) standards to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. -Stock lab supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE), and prepare glassware for scientists and technicians. -Follow all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) protocols and company policies during laboratory operations. -Participate in monthly cleanroom cleaning. -Perform and maintain inventory control, ensuring chemicals are stored properly, separate inventory based on client needs, and place orders with the purchasing department. -Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with colleagues and clients, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times. -Maintain small equipment, including pH meters, microscopes, and remote particle counters. -Work within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to update inventory, chemicals, and data properly and accurately.

What You Bring

-Proficiency with the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. -Willingness to learn and assist where needed. -Strong data entry skills. -At least 6 months of laboratory experience in either an industry or academic setting. -Experience with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and inventory control. -Associate's degree in sciences or equivalent laboratory experience. -Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOP). -Understanding of basic chemistry, including acids, bases, and flammables. -Ability to work well in a team and collaborate cross-functionally. -Strong dexterity and precision.
