Reports Coordinator

Overview

Collect, analyze, and edit traffic incident data using SunGuide and MOMS.

Tasks

-Collecting data for reports from SunGuide, MOMS, and other software -Assist with District 7 RTMC SOP updates -Coordinating with the RTMC Manager and RTMC Assistant Manager for edits in historical event chronologies in SunGuide -Edit historical event chronologies in SunGuide when necessary following comments enter in the event by operators -Analyze and process data for reports -Collect, review, address, and correct event management errors in accordance with the latest version of the District 7 RTMC SOP, Section 14.3.4 -Completing reports -Identify errors on event management during review of Operations Task Manager reports

What You Bring

-Good interpersonal skills -Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with different levels of organization -Understanding of TSM&O and traffic engineering principles -Able to always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance -Skilled at establishing relationships and working with others -Ability to write reports and correspondence -Ability to clearly communicate technical information in layman’s terms -Comprehensive knowledge of the Incident Management operations (RRSP, RISC, etc.) -Skilled in the use of Windows operating system -Very good knowledge of the policies and procedures contained in the District 7 RTMC SOP -Strong familiarity with the District’s managed lanes and arterial networks -Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel -Comprehensive knowledge of all Control Room operational responsibilities -Proficiency using SunGuide software -Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Freeway Shift Leader or as a Managed Lanes Shift Leader
