Tasks

-Creating continuous learning opportunities to help you grow and upskill. -Building relationships across vertical markets and within the local community -Developing leads and driving them toward viable business opportunities -Fostering a culture of inclusion where employees feel seen, heard and valued — and living it out every day. -Collaborating with dealer partners and their sales teams to manage and grow business -Contributing to growth in the SMB sector through increased customer count and opportunity volume -Partnering with internal teams including product specialists and design consultants -Managing opportunities from discovery through closure, leveraging Steelcase resources -Engaging with customers and the design community to uncover new opportunities

What You Bring

-Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Boston area -Must have access to a personal vehicle for local travel -Background in selling to real estate firms, construction, HVAC, or related sectors such as flooring or window treatments -Experience working within a dealer-based sales model -Familiarity with lead generation tools and services (e.g., HubSpot or similar platforms) -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field—or equivalent military experience -3+ years of professional B2B sales experience in furniture, interiors, the built environment, or contract sales -Established relationships in the community or relevant industry networks -Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills -Proven success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
