Overview

Develop BI reports/dashboards and AI-driven automation using Power BI & Microsoft Fabric.

Tasks

-Monitor AI agent performance, validate outputs, and enforce accuracy, security, and compliance within automated processes. -Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in report writing and data visualization. -Create ETL streams from transactional data into the required formats data management -Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand data visualizations that effectively communicate insights. -Work closely with stakeholders to gather report requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. -Evaluate business operations to identify automation opportunities and build AI-driven solutions using enterprise LLMs, natural-language interfaces, and agent frameworks. -Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft BI tools, Power BI, Fabric. -Optimize report performance and data accuracy by collaborating with the stakeholders and developers. -Design, develop, and maintain AI agents and automated workflows that improve operational standards, reporting efficiency, and cross-team processes. -Enhance internal knowledge and understanding of BI data, tools, reports, client issue resolution; this includes creating documentation and providing direct training sessions as needed. -Conduct quality assurance and testing of reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience. -Strong SQL skills and ability to work with complex datasets. -Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service in a highly dynamic growth environment. -Ability to translate operational processes into structured logic for AI automation. -Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. -A strong understanding of concepts such as data warehouses, data lakes and lake houses and hands on experience using Microsoft Fabric as a data platform. -Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Travel may include various means of transportation including automobile, public transportation, rail, and airplane. -Problem-solving aptitude and proactive approach to identifying and addressing reporting issues. -Proven experience (5 years) working as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role. -Proficiency and proven experience in specific BI tools, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. -Knowledge and experience in utility grid, energy, energy efficiency, carbon reduction and/or grid electrification highly desired. -Experience developing AI agents, workflow automations, or LLM-based applications using frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent enterprise tools. -Experience working within an SDLC workflow, using git-based source control such as GitHub and Azure Dev Ops. -Understanding of prompt engineering, agent orchestration, model evaluation, and safe-deployment practices. -Hands-on real-world experience and knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, OpenAI models and creating natural language reporting experiences for users.
