Overview
Perform microbiology testing and ensure QC compliance in a high‑volume food lab

Tasks
-Maintain readiness to respond to queries from clients, staff, and co-workers. -Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. -Identify and report process difficulties and propose solutions. -Enter sample data into the eLIMS system promptly and accurately. -Promote the company image through ethical business practices. -Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications. -Conduct all activities safely and efficiently. -Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples efficiently and accurately, meeting or exceeding sample turnaround goals. -Verify and submit results to appropriate personnel. -Register incoming samples as needed and maintain accurate records for work performed and quality control. -Foster cooperative working relationships and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. -Read, understand, and follow management system requirements, including the Quality Manual, SOPs, Local Work Instructions, and Methods. -Conduct plate reads and food confirmations. -Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC /AOAC ALACC and relevant government regulations. -Run PCR platforms.

-Some knowledge of food pathogen confirmation procedures. -Bachelors Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field. -Experience working in high volume environments. -Proficient in plate reading. -Sample preparation and laboratory testing skills. -2-3 years of laboratory experience. -Proficient in food pathogen detection platforms such as BAX, MDS, VIDAS, BACGene, or similar.
