The Role

Overview

Assemble climate-control units, handle materials, ensure quality and safety.

Tasks

-Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to assist with training new employees, integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies. -Testing of equipment -Use hand and hand power tools, assembly fixtures, crane devices such as vacuum lifters, cranes and forklifts. -Assisting in on-the-job training of newer employees -Installing electrical, gas, and air conditioning equipment -Final assembly of foam panel doors (i.e. install door handles and hinges). -Loading of finished product on trucks -Perform or assist with any operations throughout the factory, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. -Assemble Sycool units and non-foam panel door and jamb assemblies in accordance with defined assembly processes. -Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements. -Completing quality assurance inspection and in-process paperwork -Assembling sheet metal parts and components using various hand and power tools -Inventory control as it relates to the position (responsible for ensuring Kanban levels are maintained). -Perform material handling procedures in a safe and effective manner. -Observe and enforce all safety rules. -Adhere to Munters Quality System, maintain & submit Quality Assurance In-Process Check Sheets.
