Tasks
-Participate in internal design review meetings and apply feedback to drawings -Design-build MEP systems -Assist with the coordination of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems -Ensure designs are in compliance with local codes and project specifications -Support the preconstruction team with visualizations and system layouts -Help manage drawing revisions, file storage, and version control -Work closely with engineers, project managers, and field personnel -Maintain accuracy and consistency across drawing sets -Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings using AutoDesk Revit -Translate design concepts and engineer markups into construction-ready documents -Learn and apply company CAD standards and procedures

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience using AutoDesk Revit or other CAD software in any industry. Industry-specific experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing design is preferred but not required. The CAD Designer will be responsible for producing technical drawings and 3D models to support preconstruction, coordination, and installation efforts. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. -Must be able to work full-time on-site in Greensboro, NC -Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical direction -Ability to pass background check and drug screening -1+ years of experience using AutoDesk Revit or other drafting/modeling software -Willingness to learn construction industry practices and MEP systems -Associate degree or technical training in drafting, engineering technology, or similar field preferred -Must be eligible to work in the U.S. -Company-provided workstation with AutoDesk Revit and CAD software
