Manage end-to-end planning, budgeting, design, construction, and handover of multifamily projects.

Tasks
-Coordinate preparation and review of architectural and engineering documents, integrating feedback from internal stakeholders. -Ensure adherence to codes, licensing, and regulatory requirements. -Manage project close-out, final inspections, system training, and operational handover. -Maintain project schedules and communicate milestones to senior management and stakeholders. -Manage RFPs, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with consultants, engineers, and contractors. -Support rezoning, entitlement, and permitting processes as required. -Oversee procurement and delivery of owner-supplied equipment. -Lead all phases of design, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, and construction for assigned projects. -Represent ownership interests in construction meetings to ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance. -Develop and manage construction budgets using historical data, vendor input, and market benchmarks.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. -Familiarity with Yardi or other real estate management software a plus. -Collaborative team player who builds trust across departments while safeguarding ownership interests. -Clear communicator with ability to engage executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners. -Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. -Experience: Over 40 years in the industry. -7+ years of relevant construction/project management experience, with at least 3–5 years managing large-scale projects. -Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and permitting. -Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimating, and financial reporting. -Prior experience as an owner’s representative or in-house capital projects/facilities team strongly preferred. -Skilled negotiator with proven ability to drive accountability with vendors and contractors. -Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. -Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building envelope systems.
