Overview

Tasks
-Develop, document, and implement efficient accounting policies, systems, and procedures across the organization -Mentor and lead accounting staff, fostering professional growth, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement -Leadership role: Guide teams, set culture, and directly influence growth in your market -Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements -Support annual audits, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure appropriate documentation and compliance -Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and performance metrics -Direct and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and financial reporting -Oversee consolidation and reporting for multiple business units; review results for accuracy, revenue recognition, and appropriate cost allocation -Partner with the Vp of Finance and executive leadership to provide financial analysis, forecasts, and strategic recommendations -Evaluate and enhance accounting software systems and integrations to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency -Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal control procedures

What You Bring
-Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting best practices -Experience with ERP and accounting systems; QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop experience a plus -Proven experience leading accounting teams, managing multiple priorities, and implementing process improvements in a dynamic environment -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and adaptability to changing priorities -6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong command of other Microsoft Office applications -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred -Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to all levels of the organization
