Overview
Design and deliver water/flooding engineering solutions, including SUDS, flood risk and treatment.

Tasks
-Ensure that relevant legislation, regulations, policies, strategies and technical guidance is interpreted, followed and communicated across the team with guidance from senior members of staff. -Prepare technical designs, drawings, reports, correspondence, and other outputs in accordance with approved design standards and procedures in line with the delivery programme.

What You Bring
-Communicate effectively and in a team environment with a broad cross-section of individuals. This would typically include, but is not limited to; team colleagues and project managers, other internal design disciplines, clients and contractors. -A proven ability to work within a team environment, both internally among the greater Water team and externally within project teams and with stakeholders -Ability to meet strict deadlines and strong analytical skills -A Master's degree within these fields would be beneficial but not essential. -Sound understanding of design principles for elements that may include SUDS, flood risk assessments, water quality assessments, water / wastewater treatment etc -Strong relevant digital skills including ArcGIS -Knowledge of hydrological principles
