Tasks

-Support project planning, programming, and delivery strategies. -Oversee daily site operations across multiple live projects, ensuring work is safe, on time, and within budget. -Monitor progress, manage subcontractors, and maintain accurate site records. -Engage with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain to maintain strong working relationships. -Contribute to ECI processes, including buildability reviews and risk assessments. -Collaborate with commercial teams on cost estimates, forecasting, and subcontractor management. -Lead and coordinate all on-site activities with strict HSEQ compliance.

What You Bring

We are recruiting two experienced Site Managers for a major infrastructure project in Southend, delivering a £11.5m scheme including bridge demolition, earthworks, drainage, roundabout construction, traffic signal installation, and junction remodelling. This is a hands-on role for experienced Site Managers ready to take ownership of a high-profile infrastructure project. -Proven experience as a Site Manager on infrastructure, highways, or major civils projects. -Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills. -Relevant certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid. -Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, and civil engineering principles. -Experience supporting planning and working with commercial teams on cost management. -Ability to manage multiple sites in a fast-paced environment. -HNC in Construction or Civil Engineering.
