BIM Coordinator

Overview

Coordinate BIM models, MEP design, clash detection and Revit family creation for construction.

Tasks

-Manage clash reporting and clash resolution between disciplines. -Generating revit models from the senior engineers outputs (sketches / hevacomp / cymap / DIALux / Relux). -Attendance on weekly internal model and design team meetings and project BIM meetings with the main contractors. -Modelling, drawing and coordinating, mechanical and electrical designs, to ensure projects can be constructed with little or no rework once the site team commence work. -Model Skids & Modules to allow K&M offsite to manufacture and deliver to site. -Maintain ACC / BIM360 cloud Models & reporting. -Creation of revit families where manufactures files are not available. -Provide technical assistance to project team where required while project is ongoing. -Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required. -Ensuring the latest models, drawings and designs from all other stakeholders are being used and notifying engineers and site team of any changes to these models or drawings. -Ensure compliance with all project BIM documentation. -Integration of Cloud Point Surveys.

What You Bring

-Previous Revit MEP experience in the construction / building services field -Ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner (in person and over email) -Relevant qualification in BIM or Mechanical or Electrical engineering is beneficial
