Tasks

-Ensure culture and diversity issues for the clients are considered at all times, and report any forms of discrimination. -Act as an initial point of reference on the phone, or in a reception area as required. -Working within a multi-disciplinary team of housing and support staff, and meeting the requirements of a rota system. -Monitor access to schemes and visitors. -Promote and encourage a high level of client involvement, consultation and communication. -To understand that Riverside is a nationally focused organisation and to be accountable for adhering to the agreed corporate policies and procedures -The role holder is expected to be committed to equal opportunities and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken. -Reporting incidents and anti-social behaviour. -Reporting repairs to maintenance contractors by using appropriate systems. -You will undertake regular training to enable you to deliver your role safely. -From time to time you may be required to undertake additional duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature, in consultation with your Line Manager. -Use company intranet (RIC), e-mail and other basic correspondence where appropriate and necessary. -Advises management promptly of any signs of problems or concerns about a client. -Implementing night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the scheme -Implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery. -Carry out domestic tasks (cleaning communal areas) to a high standard. -Meeting the requirements of health and safety policies and practices.

What You Bring

-Ability to demonstrate IT Skills to include a basic proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel as well as a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Riverside; and complete relevant IT training where required -Responds to faults as discovered. -You will be required to work a range of shifts on a 24 hour, 7 days per week rota basis. -Effective recording of information. -To demonstrate IT Skills to include a basic proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel as well as a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Riverside; and complete relevant IT training where required -Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer and business needs, which may not include normal office hours and may include lone working -Experience of working in a customer focused environment
