Tasks

-Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client engagement, and strategic planning to grow the transmission line practice. -Provide technical leadership in resolving complex engineering challenges related to line design, constructability, and system integration. -Lead and mentor a team of transmission line engineers and technical specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. -Ensure quality assurance and compliance with project scope, codes, and client requirements through rigorous design reviews and technical oversight. -Oversee the design and analysis of transmission line systems, including structure loading, conductor selection, line routing, and foundation design, in accordance with NESC, ASCE, and utility standards. -Manage project delivery from concept through construction, including estimating, scheduling, resource planning, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams. -Collaborate with international teams and contribute to global knowledge sharing and best practices.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multi-state licensure is a plus. -15+ years of progressive experience in transmission line engineering, including leadership of large-scale projects and teams. -Strong understanding of transmission line design tools (e.g., PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, SAG10, LPILE). -Proven experience working with utilities, OEMs, EPC contractors, and engineering consultants.Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
