Tasks

-Oversee installation and operation of traffic signals, signage, and road markings -Advise on sustainable transport solutions and public transit systems -Use transport modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SYNCHRO, TRANSYT) -Ensure compliance with relevant transportation standards and regulations -Supervise fieldwork, site investigations, and implementation of transport schemes -Conduct traffic and travel surveys, including data collection and analysis -Prepare and review transportation studies and reports -Design road layouts, intersections, and traffic control measures -Develop and evaluate transportation plans, policies, and strategies -Coordinate with local authorities, stakeholders, and the public -Analyse and model traffic flow and transportation systems -Assess the impacts of new developments on transportation networks -Estimate project costs and prepare budgets -Prepare technical documentation and presentations for meetings -Recommend improvements for road safety and traffic efficiency
