Design civil/earthwork infrastructure for Sentinel program, preparing studies, drawings, specs.

Tasks

-Perform formal calculations and drawings. -Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team. -Develop design specifications for construction and/or procurement. -Develop design configuration packages for configuration control, change management, and procurement. -Development of civil/sitework/earthwork/drainage design and drawings -Review customer & vendor information from subcontractors and integrate it into the design solution. -Execute to schedule requirement while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product. -Review existing conditions and as-builts drawings.

What You Bring

-Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME-NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000. -Experience with Microsoft Office programs, VISIO, and other common computer programs. -Experience executing engineering and design with Civil3D & Mathcad. -Knowledge in use of Bechtel Corporate guides and standards. -Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards, as well as Bechtel Corporate guides and standards. -Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). -Grade 23: Requires bachelor's degree in Civil or related with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience. Passed the Engineer in Training (EIT) exam or obtain EIT within 12 months of hire date. -Prior experience working with government agencies. -Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively. -Broad knowledge of the application of civil engineering design principles. -Grade 22: Requires bachelor's degree in Civil or related with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience. -This role requires a facility-specific clearance that requires U.S. Citizenship.
