Overview
Lead a process engineering team designing water and wastewater treatment projects.

Tasks
-Drive the detailed design through coordination with other support disciplines -Developing detailed plans and specifications -Managing, mentoring and professional development for process team members -Planning, managing, and executing process staff and workload -Be included in client meetings, industry conferences, and serve as a subject matter expert for the Water Business Line -Developing conceptual level designs for water and wastewater treatment systems -Developing detailed designs, including contract documents (plans and specifications) -Supporting regional teams with treatment related business development activities -Recruiting top talent for the process team -Process standards and tools development, procurement, and training -Coordinating with process mechanical team for detailed design services for treatment facilities -Coordinating and maintaining project schedules -Managing and mentoring teams, coordinating schedules, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring delivery of quality work products which adhere to Garver standardization -Quality program compliance, including ensuring delivery of quality work products that adhere to Garver standardization. -Developing scope, schedule, level of effort, and fees for projects -Preparing design calculations, coordinating with other support discipline activities on projects, coordinating with regional Garver offices and regulating agencies, construction cost estimating, and quality assurance and control -Planning and monitoring budgets

What You Bring
-Experience using wastewater process modeling software such as Hydromatis GPS-X, Dynamita Sumo, and/or EnviroSim BioWin -Overall understanding of water and wastewater treatment plant systems in a campus-wide environment -Experience using hydraulic modeling software -Affiliation and active participation with water/wastewater organizations such as AWWA, WEF, WRF -Master’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program -Use of AutoCad and/or Revit CAD programs -10+ years of technical related experience with 2+ years of experience in project or team leadership -Experience in giving presentations for clients and professional organizations -Proven experience overseeing process designs, including detailed plans and specifications for major projects -15+ years of process engineering design experience with 5+ years of experience in project/team leadership -Experience using Bluebeam and MSOffice products, including Excel, Outlook and Word -Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license or with the ability to be licensed -Cost estimation experience -Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in several states including SC, NC, GA, FL, TN -Strong teaching and coaching skills to mentor and communicate with team members of all levels -Demonstrated experience performing process equipment evaluation, sizing and cost estimating
