Overview

Manage inventory, sourcing, supplier relations, and logistics for naval supply support.

Tasks

-Develop relationships with keys suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics partners to manage lead times and maintain logistic control across local, domestic, and international supply portfolios -Provide input to Supply Support reporting requirements. -Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Supply Support business processes and procedures. -Maintain the Inventory Management Systems, including Initiating cataloguing of new inventory items in the IMS. -Manage issues with goods/services through supplier corrective action process and contribute regularly to the Supplier Risk Report. -Assess sourcing requirements by liaising with stakeholders based on supplied estimates, market experience, purchase complexity, sole source consideration and purchase thresholds.

What You Bring

-A formal qualification in either a trade or logistics management would be highly regarded -Knowledge of asset management standards, systems, and processes -Experience with supply chain management and part interpretation. -3+ years’ experience within supply support or logistics -Experience with supply chain management and part interpretation -Knowledge of Supply Support management, planning and scheduling.
