The Role
Overview
Assist warehouse staff, manage storage tasks, ensure safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to the immediate Supervisor -Follow prescribed safety regulations/guidelines -Make all required corrections/modifications according to MO/CO/DO -Maintain work-related records and reports (i.e. quality defects, unplanned material requisition) -Follow-up on receiving / stocking discrepancies -Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse area -Communicate properly with internal departments. -Train new hires -Assist in assigning duties -Check availability of parts, components, and materials (i.e., use WMS to confirm allocations, locations, and part disposition) -Return leftover parts back to the Warehouse -Ensure the availability of all Storage supplies -Ensure all warehouse functions follow written procedures Occasional, Infrequent -Carry out daily warehouse workload -Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts

What You Bring
-HS Diploma or GED required or relevant work experience. -Demonstrated ability to prioritize work tasks and follow through on outstanding tasks -Required to read, write, and comprehend English -1-2 years' experience in a warehouse or distribution center role managing storage parts, components, and materials -Overall knowledge of product line. -Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems that directly affect their work area. -6 months of experience in mentoring and training other team members in a warehouse environment -Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles -Ability to follow through on work orders using fundamental knowledge of assembly techniques and applications
