CDL - Moffett Driver

Overview

Drive trucks, deliver materials, load/unload, supervise labor, operate equipment.

Tasks

-Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to. -Notify branch management immediately on any unsafe loading condition. -Drive trucks from the facility to designated job sites safely and in a timely manner. -Keep mileage logs as necessary. -Operate forklifts periodically. -Use personal protective equipment as required. -Responsible for care and maintenance of assigned vehicle. -Participate in mandatory federally programs.

What You Bring

-Must be able to operate designated crane/boom, or moffett safely and efficiently. -Will experience frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling. -Dexterity to manipulate and utilize equipment on an as needed basis. -Some schooling is preferred -Obtain visual acuity. -One must also obtain a clean driving history record -One must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B required). -Ability to follow directions from dispatcher/branch management. -Ability to convey directions and work effectively with a partner. -Frequently experience lifting and carrying objects including overhead lifting (weights will vary from 50 to 150 pounds).
