Maintain and repair CAT heavy equipment in shop/field, ensuring customer service.

Tasks

-Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations) -Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements -Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed. -Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment -Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required

What You Bring

-3rd or 4th Year Apprentices may be considered -CAT Dealer grade training -A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable -Previous gas engine and power generation experience is an asset -Clean Drivers’ Abstract (Field roles) -Transmission or Hydraulic testing knowledge -5x2 or 7x7 Shifts -Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems -Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification -Engine and/or component rebuilding experience
