- Analyze, trend, and communicate progress information to project personnel, including Earned Value reporting
- Implement Change Management on assigned projects
- Work with Project Managers to ensure alignment of the project forecast Estimate To Complete (ETC)/Estimate At Completion (EAC) both in terms of time and cost
- Communicate proactively, with the project team, stakeholders, and project leadership, all issues and variances which may influence the project outcome
- Prepare and present project planning and scheduling reports for Project Management and Client review
- Provide accurate internal weekly and monthly project reports. Interface with, and present to management
- Provide project planning and scheduling input into proposals and bids
- Interdisciplinary communication with Design Leads and Project Management team
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, change & risk management, cost estimating & control, forecasting, reporting and document management for assigned projects
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and company standards
- Ensure maintenance and updating of project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)
- Monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from subconsultants
- Oversee preparation of cost reviews and participate in project review audits
- Participate in project risk assessments and workshops to identify and mitigate risks related to potential impacts on scope, cost, and schedule
- Evaluate project contracts and commercial terms to ensure that the project controls processes are aligned to address any specific project needs

- Degree/Diploma in management or a related field
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- 5+ years of project controls experience for large transportation/infrastructure projects
- Strong, proven understanding of management practices, in particular finance & accounting
- Solid track record in managing, mentoring, and leading a team
- Project Management, Accounting & Finance qualification and/or accreditation
- 10+ years of major project experience holding commercial roles
- Software knowledge: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI, Primavera P6
- Understand contractual language, ensure projects are contract and company compliant
- Understand pricing approaches (Lump Sum, T&M, Fixed Fee)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate
- Extensive experience with WBS, CBS, and assessment of Earned Value
