Tasks
-Monitor and oversee the project design or construction effort, to include but not limited to risk management, security and safety compliance, etc. -Provide technical support on a daily basis to all customers, manage electronic documents, serves as the liaison for stakeholders and customer groups, provide expertise, monitor security related issues, and maintain a coordinating relationship with the government agency, its clients, and external partners to include the architect-engineers, construction contractors, and other contractors supporting the government. -Interface with clients to define project requirements. -Conduct comprehensive reviews of construction submittals and construction contract documents. -Lead and manage the construction quality assurance process. -Provide project administration and contract administration duties, including records management. -Inspect and monitor on-site processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, and code compliance. -Coordinate and monitor the completion of activities in all phases of the project life cycle. -Assist with the transition of projects to those customers responsible for ongoing maintenance of space. -Generate well organized professional deliverables, including daily field reports. -Collect requirements, prepare SOWs, and conduct market research, as appropriate. -Provide support in project planning, procurement, design, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. -Lead construction management and owner’s representative duties across multiple projects. -Provide on-site construction management duties during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit-out, commissioning and occupancy phases. -Assist the Owner with acquisition planning, technical reviews, execution, and administration. -Review schedule and align project work plan and deadlines with requirements.

What You Bring
-Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is required. -Experience with reviewing design document submittals, reviewing cost and schedule estimates, collecting, preparing, and reporting programmatic information. -10+ years of experience in federal construction management / owner's representative services on projects for new construction, renovations, upgrades or new fit-outs for both roadway and facility projects. -Ability to analyze all relevant project-related information and communicate project status and issues effectively in writing and verbally. -BA or BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is required -Experience with coordinating with project stakeholders, contractors, architects, and engineers during all construction project phases. -Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, interpret contract terms and conditions, working knowledge of CPM scheduling, communication skills, intermediate computer skills and leadership skills. -Active PMP, CCM and/or CQM certification credential -Experience in the role as lead construction project manager in federal construction projects -Travel may be required throughout multiple project locations in the area. -Experience in the use of industry project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Revit, Prolog, Kahua, etc. -Experience in the role of lead owner's representative on construction projects -Experience in compiling and management of cost proposals and experience in generating and negotiating change proposals. -Experience with estimating, cost verification reviews and project financial management. -Fluent in project management principles and how to implement project management principles.
