  • Support equipment sourcing (technical inputs, equipment evaluation)
  • Support SCADA system engineering tasks including but not limited to SCADA systems database configurations, upgrades / modifications, communication network configurations, firewall & cyber security configurations and testing the control system configuration on mirror platforms
  • Participate in technical negotiations with end customers and other stakeholders
  • Design, configure and develop HMI & SCADA applications
  • Produce high quality documents and specifications
  • Contribute sales and R&D activities
  • Develop and establish cyber security processes
  • Collaborate with other cyber security specialists in GE units around the world
  • Plan, Specify, Organize and participate testing in laboratory and at site
  • Perform Cyber Security & SCADA system validation and factory acceptance test (FAT).

  • Good Knowledge of HMIs and SCADA Gateways and understanding of their concepts.
  • Fluent written and oral skills in English; Finnish and other languages are benefit
  • Adaptive with problem-solving skills
  • Strong Knowledge in substation communication protocols (eg. IEC61850, DNP3, IEC60870-5-104/101).
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge in network management protocols like SNMP.
  • Ability to work in groups as well as individually
  • Curious, open-minded and willingness to learn
  • Ability to global travel >50%
  • 3+ years of Experience with Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of Network Security / Hardening, Whitelisting and Cybersecurity best practices.
