The Role
Overview
Develop and manage competitive proposals for Grid Solutions FACTS projects.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Collaborate with global and U.S. engineering teams to deliver complete, high-quality bid packages and technically sound solutions. -Coordinate with supply chain and subcontractors to incorporate accurate cost estimates and supplier quotes. -Apply Siemens Energy’s full range of products and services to meet customer objectives while ensuring compliance with design criteria and industry codes. -Develop and write competitive sales proposals for Grid Solutions FACTS projects, ensuring feasibility and alignment with EPC market standards. -Records of building and delivery of large programs. -Engage with customers to understand their business goals, operational challenges, and technical requirements.

What You Bring
-Technical and business type verbal and written communication and presentation skills. -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers. -5 or more years of experience in a related field. Experience with Grid Solutions Utilities preferred. Knowledge of customers and competitors preferred. -Ability to travel as business requires -Experience with setting up and executing self-perform work. -BS in Electrical Engineering preferred. Master’s degree preferred. -Inherent ability to work effectively in a team environment and strong desire to win. -Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering or business. -Organization and time management skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment. -Maintain strong industry knowledge and demonstrate critical thinking to resolve complex, cross-functional challenges effectively. -Demonstrated business acumen in balancing customer and business requirements, i.e., operational, financial, strategic, and tactical thinking, etc.
