Oversee metal fabrication shop, schedule work, supervise team, ensure quality and safety.

Tasks
-Supervise tasks and assist in layout for fabrication of duct and specialty fabrication. -Maintain records of job progress and perform quality control checks. -Maintain a clean shop while coordinating removal of trash and metal recycling. -Check and maintain inventory levels of metal and components to keep production flowing. -Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure the team follows company safety standards. -Plan and coordinate job schedules for the shop and monitor team’s performance. -Instruct and direct the team with specific tasks. -Train and mentor new employees. -Timekeeping of shop employees. -Ensure all tools, equipment, and machinery are properly maintained.

What You Bring
-Thorough knowledge of hazards and safety precautions. -Ability to maintain good working relationships with superiors, peers, and subordinates. -Ability to read, interpret blueprints, and to lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts. -Ability to analyze defects and quality issues to determine necessary repairs. -Thorough knowledge of prevailing codes within the mechanical trades. -Ability to transfer 130 lbs. a distance of 12 feet with the help of another person. -Adaptable: You're flexible and capable of adapting to changes in priorities and project needs with ease. -3+ years of mechanical duct fabrication experience. -Ability to make estimates of labor and materials needed for mechanical jobs. -Ability to lift 75 lbs. -Team Collaborator: You thrive in team settings, valuing the collective success over individual achievements and readily contributing to the team's goals. -Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment to produce rectangular duct and specialty fabrication needs. -Ability to supervise the work of skilled and semi-skilled teammates. -Communicative: You possess strong communication skills, capable of representing our brand professionally across all interactions.
