Technician in nuclear academy, alternating classroom study and field deployments.

Tasks

-Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment. -Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance. -Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service. -Conducts a variety of routine field tasks including, but not limited to operating specialized equipment, taking measurements, compiling data, and performing without error in high stress environments. -Maintains maintenance logs and certification documentation.

What You Bring

-Requires travel to a variety of job sites. -High school diploma or equivalent* -Candidates must be at least 18 years of age prior to their employment date. -Requires unescorted nuclear access (includes background check, and drug screen). -Accepted and enrolled at Central Virginia Community College and in good academic standing.
