Tasks

-Operate forklifts, man lifts and other industrial equipment -Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders. -Communicate the preparation of the parts to the parts room clerk -Manage service contracts and track performance and cost -Perform cycle counts and inventory validations -Manage outside vendors through planning, costs and performance -Produce and communicate reports on the department's performance indicators -Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to be performed on each shift -Review and prioritize all incoming work requests and view work on site for clarification of work to be performed -Follow up on inspections related to building equipment and the factory in general -Create maintenance schedules and generate work orders -Fill in when needed to receive parts and equipment. -Create and track department work orders in the ERP system -Estimate costs of labor and parts for industrial equipment maintenance -Through MRP management and forecasting, ensure that we have the necessary parts in stock for efficiently maintaining and rebuild equipment. -Contact vendors for technical documentation, pricing and availability -Define the scope of projects, solicit quotes and present them for approval -Ensure and optimize the monitoring of an up-to-date preventive and corrective maintenance program -Serve as liaison between maintenance and operations -Research equipment manuals and vendor specifications for new parts and new generations of parts to ensure they are available when needed -Ensure the maintenance staff and operations has all the necessary parts, tools and technical information to perform the job -Coordinate with production and planning for maintenance tasks and operational needs -Adjust schedules for unexpected changes and breakdowns

What You Bring

-Experience in manufacturing maintenance planning and work orders -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, D365 and Microsoft AX (highly preferred) -Excellent planning and execution skills -High level knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts -Maybe required to work outside normal business hours in order to handle emergencies or ensure that maintenance work does not interfere with regular operations -Ability to work under pressure and with others for a common goal -Be an excellent communicator
