Overview

Assist branch manager with daily ops, staff, inventory, safety, and sales

Tasks

-Implement branch security and safety standards by conducting facility and asset inspections and take corrective actions to support controls -May fill in for other branch and warehouse roles and make deliveries as needed -Establish and maintain a relationship with key customers -Deal effectively with daily customer service issues -Develop, train, and supervise associates -Maintain branch facility, warehouse, and office equipment -Assist Branch Manager with monitoring branch operating expenses and implement corrective actions -Greet and assist call-in and walk-in customers with the selection and delivery of products and services -Use hands to finger, handle, or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery - Constantly – at least 51% -Participate in inventory control and advise Branch Manager of problems to ensure customer demand is met -Conduct/oversee inventory control procedures and warehouse housekeeping practices -Schedule branch staff to ensure daily coverage -Work with the Branch Manager and branch personnel to drive profitability by utilizing company digital tools to maximize all aspects of branch performance

-Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Frequently – 21% to 50% -Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required -Leadership experience preferred -Exposed to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and/or exposure to heat and cold - Occasionally – up to 20% -Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Frequently – 21% to 50% -Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Must be able to crouch down to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or position oneself to maintain computers in the lab/under desks/in server closet - Occasionally – up to 20% -Valid Driver's License -Climb or balance: Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment - Occasionally – up to 20% -Up to 25 pounds - Frequently – 21% to 50% -2+ years of related experience -Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP system such as Solar Eclipse -Up to 10 pounds - Constantly – at least 51% -Handles or works with potentially dangerous equipment - Occasionally – up to 20% -Previous sales, operations, electrical distribution, or similar B2B industry experience preferred -High School or GED - Required -Up to 50 pounds - Occasionally – up to 20% -Ability to manage P&Ls preferred -Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills -Knowledge and experience in inventory control and warehouse operations -Sales and service oriented, self-motivated, dependable, possess excellent leadership and customer service skills -Recognize personnel problems and take corrective actions as needed -Travels to offsite locations - Occasionally – up to 20% -Ability to develop and coach a team -4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred -Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions - Constantly – at least 51%
