Field Service Representative (SoCal, LV, TX)

Overview

Provide technical support, training and field service for flooring products across SoCal, LV, TX

Key Responsibilities

• product installation
• field inspections
• certification tests

Tasks

-Manage the logistics of that and submit paperwork to the corporate office for certification of those students who pass the test. -Submit detailed reports within 48 hours including key observations/facts, photographs, collection of samples and applicable evidence. -Conduct training sessions and seminars. Involves hands-on installation demonstration and speaking/presenting in front of an audience. -Conduct Claim Inspections and Technical Evaluations in the field (Involves travel to jobsites throughout the western United States and Western Canada, and potentially outside of North America on rare occasion. -Conduct POWERBOND and broadloom certification tests (written and practical exam) that are pass or fail for the students. -Product Installation of SOFT surface materials (Carpet tile, POWERBOND, broadloom) for trade Show E.g. NeoCon, Mock-ups, Field Testing, tip sheet videos, etc -Provide Technical Support via in-person contact, as well as telephone and E-mail communications (Product, Installation, Site Conditions, Maintenance, etc.).

What You Bring

-This person would ideally be based out of Southern California, Las Vegas or Texas. -Flooring installation experience; including and preferred with POWERBOND, woven, and tufted broadloom. -Significant amount of troubleshooting and problem solving. -Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (MS Office) -Ability to travel -Profession, respectful, honest, reliable, strong work ethic desired. -Effective communication skills. Bi-lingual not required but preferred.
