The Role

Overview

Lead and oversee maintenance of 85-building portfolio, managing staff and systems.

Tasks

-Supervise, schedule, and evaluate facilities technician staff -Maintain and execute preventive maintenance programs -Train staff on maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance -Develop and implement maintenance goals, policies, and procedures -Coordinate minor construction and special projects -Maintain CMMS systems and generate reports on KPIs, SLAs, and maintenance activities -Oversee maintenance of HVAC, chilled water systems, cooling towers, compressors, and electrical distribution systems -Foster strong client relationships with a focus on responsiveness and problem-solving -Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, equipment, and services -Maintain company standards for background checks (criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance/drug testing)

What You Bring

-Ability to work safely under varying environmental and weather conditions -Strong customer service focus -Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strenuous manual labor may be required -Familiarity with MS Office and current technology -Ability to operate hand/power tools and equipment -Ability to stand and/or sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day -5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance and repair in a multi-story, multi-building corporate environment -Contract negotiation and vendor management experience -Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications -Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance -Experience supervising technical staff -Proven experience with facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, fire/life safety, and building infrastructure -Advanced knowledge of safety management principles and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ADA, building codes)
