Process invoices, checks, and vendor compliance for construction projects

Tasks

-Electronic auditing of jobsite generated invoices in CMiC. Verifying all invoices are approved, the correct amounts are processed for payment, and sales tax is included when applicable -Extracting AP information from CMiC and compiling reports -Audit credit card statements for coding, approvals, complete business purposes, and correct amount due -Reconciling vendor statements -Reconciling old open payables -Communicating with Project Accountants regarding invoice discrepancies, sales tax issues, needed documentation, training needs, etc. -Timely processing of invoices for payment based on due dates for miscellaneous invoices and owner funded subcontractors -Updating subcontractor compliances in CMiC as contracts, insurance, good guy letters, etc., are received -Researching old outstanding checks -Review and process W-9’s for new vendors setup -Distributing checks -Verifying coding and approvals for overhead invoices

-Ability to efficiently gain understanding of processes and procedures for cross training purposes -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) -CMiC (accounting software) – training available -Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment and encourage compliance with accounts payable policies and procedures -Familiarity with accruing sales tax -Familiarity with 1099’s
