Tasks

As a key leader in the preconstruction department, you will be responsible for driving cost-effective project planning, value engineering, and accurate budgeting to secure and execute large-scale Mechanical projects. Lead Estimator Role – Commercial Plumbing & Mechanical Systems This is a prime opportunity for an Estimator to lead strategic preconstruction efforts for one of Georgia's most respected mechanical contractors. -Collaborate with general contractors, developers, and internal project teams to ensure project alignment. -Participate in client presentations and proposal development to win high-value projects. -Develop detailed cost estimates, material takeoffs, and labor projections. -Perform constructability reviews to ensure efficient design and installation methods. -Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance project success. -Lead the preconstruction process for large-scale mechanical projects, from initial budgeting to final bid submission. -Identify and implement value engineering solutions to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. -Analyze market trends, labor costs, and supply chain factors to secure competitive pricing.
