Tasks

-Promote a proactive safety culture, ensuring all employees and subcontractors are engaged in best practices -Lead electrical safety training programs for field crews, supervisors, and leadership teams -Develop and manage comprehensive safety programs for electrical and construction (transmission, distribution, substations) projects -Investigate incidents and near-misses, providing root cause analysis and strategies for continuous improvement -Conduct job site safety audits and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions -Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, ANSI, NESC, and other industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment -Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety into project planning and execution

What You Bring

-Ability to identify hazards and implement proactive solutions -Ability to engage teams and influence a culture of safety -Experience in analyzing metrics and audits to improve safety performance -Eight plus years in construction safety management with 4 plus years in power delivery -CUSP, CHST certifications are preferred -CSP certification required if bachelor's degree not complete -Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field strongly preferred -Strong Knowledge of Safety Regulations; OSHA 30/OSHA 500, NFPA 70E, DOT, ANSI, and utility safety standards
