The Role

Overview

Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of hotel facilities and pool.

Tasks

-Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency -Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner -Responds to reported problems and issues and performs general repairs -Performs building and equipment preventative maintenance duties -Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot -Ensures all maintenance areas and equipment are clean, organized and secured -Performs preventative maintenance duties in guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel -Assists with maintaining the pool area according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes

What You Bring

-Maintains basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operation -Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Maintains operational knowledge of common power and hand tools -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -Weekend availability is a must -Need reliable transportation and communication skills
