The Role

Overview

Lease apartments, manage resident relations, and handle renewals for multi‑family communities.

Tasks

-Ensure the condition of leased apartments before move-in, including a final inspection and walk-through with resident -Maintain thorough product knowledge of property, and that of major competition, and conduct outside marketing activities -Coordinate the application review for each lease including credit and income verifications -Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms and coordinate the renewal process for each lease -Effectively lease apartments and sell properties products and services in accordance with budget guidelines -Follow Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents -Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends -Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring their needs are met -Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums, and other proper documentation as indicated on the checklist

What You Bring

-Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a team -Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, and ability to use computer -Knowledge of Yardi Voyager, or other similar programs -Must be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects -1+ years of experience in multi-family leasing or 1+ years of experience in B2B selling desired -Eligible for commission -BA/BS in business, sales, or related field, relevant experience, or a combination -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Regular attendance and punctuality -Strong marketing and creativity skills -Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions -Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials -Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.
