The Role

Overview

Provide GIS, database, and IT support for Natural Resource Management projects on the PG&E contract.

Tasks

-Provide geospatial and tabular records in web-based and PG&E platforms (i.e. - PG&E’s ArcSDE environment), within 1 to 7 business days upon request. -Provide support for data processing, analytics, metrics, and QC from web-based and PG&E platforms. -Provide ongoing process and procedure development and documentation, within 1 to 7 business days upon request -Provide support for automation of data processing, analytics, metrics, and QC, where applicable. -Provide geospatial and tabular files and data/map products internally/externally, within 1 to 7 business days upon request -Provide support for defined and ad-hoc data requests. -Provide web-based dashboards and reporting tools, within 1 to 7 business days upon request -Provide development support of data collection and repositories on web-based and PG&E platforms. -Provide front-end development support of data dashboards and on web-based and PG&E platforms. -Provide QA/QC reports to appropriate teams and programs on a weekly and monthly basis -Provide urgent ad-hoc data and analytic deliverables, within 1 to 7 business days upon request -Provide programmatic analytics and data pulls from various data sources within and outside of PG&E (- USFS data layers, weather models etc.), within 1 to 7 business days upon request -Provide data processing and analytical models, within 1 to 7 business days upon request -Provide Contractor GIS to train NRM program field personnel for improved workflows and processes. -Provide support for data backup processes. -Provide back-ups of necessary program data on a daily and weekly basis. -Provide presentation and training materials as requested -Provide continued support of and improvements to data processing, data analysis, data metrics, data QC, data collection, and other GIS support, as applicable.

What You Bring

-Minimum age of 21 -Possess a valid driver’s license -2 or 4 year degree in Geographic Informational Systems, or related field AND at least 1 years’ experience performing GIS analysis or field work OR 4 years work experience in a GIS analysis related field -Proficiency with Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook] or similar software suite -Familiar with GIS programs: ACRGIS, ARCGIS Pro, Field Maps, MapsPlus
